How to delete pages from a pdf

  1. 1

    Open your PDF

Drop the document onto the page to see every page as a thumbnail.

  2. 2

    Tick the pages to delete

Use the checkbox under each page you want gone. The preview highlights your selection.

  3. 3

    Download

Press Delete pages and download. The remaining pages keep their original order.

Deleting a page really removes it

The new document is assembled from the pages you kept, so the deleted pages and everything on them are simply not carried across. This is not a visibility flag or a crop that another reader could undo, and the text on those pages will not turn up in a search of the finished file.

That distinction matters when you are stripping a salary figure, a home address or an internal note out of a document before forwarding it. A page that has been hidden rather than removed is a data leak waiting to happen.

Your original file is never modified either. It stays exactly as it was on disk, so a mistake costs you nothing more than starting over.

Common uses

  • Dropping blank pages a scanner picked up.
  • Removing a cover sheet or a page of terms before forwarding.
  • Cutting an appendix down to the part someone actually asked for.
  • Taking out a page with information the recipient should not see.

Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded to delete pages?
No. The document is opened and edited by code running in your browser, and the new PDF is generated on your device. There is no upload endpoint in this application — you can watch the network tab while you work.
Is the deleted content really gone from the file?
Yes. A new document is assembled from the pages you kept, so the removed pages are not present in the download at all.
Can I delete every page?
No — a PDF needs at least one page, so the tool will not let you remove them all.
Can I undo a deletion?
Your original file is untouched on disk, so just start over and pick again. The tool never modifies the file you selected.
