Why send a PDF instead of photos
A single PDF arrives as one attachment, opens in the same order for everyone, prints predictably and cannot be reshuffled by an email client that decides to sort by filename.
For anything document-shaped — receipts, contracts, ID scans, forms — a PDF is what the recipient is expecting.
JPGs are embedded as-is
PDF supports JPG natively, so your photos are placed into the document without being decoded and re-encoded. There is no extra generation of quality loss.
That also means the PDF is roughly the combined size of your photos. Compress them first if it needs to fit an attachment limit.

- No. The document is opened and edited by code running in your browser, and the new PDF is generated on your device. There is no upload endpoint in this application — you can watch the network tab while you work.

- Does converting reduce the photo quality?
- No. JPGs are embedded directly without re-encoding, so the pages look exactly like the originals.
- How do I make the PDF smaller?
- Compress or resize the JPGs before converting — the PDF is roughly as large as the images inside it.
