Your files

Files you select in any of our tools — editing or signing a PDF, merging, splitting, rotating or reordering pages, converting between PDF and images, or converting, compressing and resizing pictures — are processed locally in your browser. The processing code runs on your device. We do not intentionally upload, receive, store or back up those files, and there is no file-upload endpoint in this application.

Results are produced on your device and handed to you as a normal browser download. Nothing is round-tripped through a server to generate them.

What we do not collect

We do not collect, transmit or store:

• file contents or the generated result file,
• filenames,
• text extracted from your documents,
• page thumbnails or image pixel data,
• signature images or typed signature names,
• certificates, private keys or certificate passwords,
• document metadata such as titles or authors,
• cryptographic hashes of your files (a hash can act as an identifier).

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It records standard, aggregated web analytics data such as the page visited, referrer, approximate country, and device/browser type. It does not use cookies for cross-site tracking and does not build a profile of you across other websites.

We also record a small, fixed set of product events, so we can tell which tools people actually use. This is the complete list, and it is enforced in code — the analytics module accepts nothing but these names:

• pdf_loaded
• pdf_export_completed
• visual_signature_used
• digital_signature_completed
• image_conversion_completed
• image_compression_completed
• download_clicked

Each event is a bare name with no attached data. There is deliberately no way to pass a property alongside one, so it is structurally impossible for a filename, file size, page count or document content to travel this path. If analytics are blocked or unavailable, every tool continues to work normally.

Advertising

This site is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense. Google is a third party and may process ordinary browser and advertising information — such as your IP address, device and browser characteristics, the pages you view on this site, and your interactions with ads — in order to serve and measure advertising.

Google uses cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and read how Google uses this data in its partner-sites policy.

Google receives no information about your files. The advertising code is a separate module that is never passed a file, a filename, or anything derived from a document, and no file-processing code may import it. Ads are placed in the page margins and below the page content — never between a result and its download button, never in a pop-up or overlay, and never in a way that blocks a tool. If you block ads, every tool continues to work normally.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes the ordinary network requests needed to deliver the page, its scripts and its assets, and its logs record standard request information such as IP address and user agent. Those requests deliver the application to you; they do not carry your file contents, because the tools have no endpoint to send a file to.

Cookies and local storage

We do not set cookies of our own, and we do not save your documents, certificates or certificate passwords to localStorage, IndexedDB or cookies. Files you open exist in the page's memory and are released when you start over, close the tab or reload.

Google, as a third-party ad provider, does set cookies and read similar browser storage in order to serve and measure ads. We do not control those cookies. You can turn off personalised advertising in Google My Ad Center, and blocking them does not affect any tool on this site.

What this claim does and does not mean

When we say “this file never left your computer” we mean exactly that: the contents of the file you selected, and the result we generated from it. We do not claim that the entire website works offline or that your browser makes no network requests at all.

Loading the page and its code is ordinary network activity, and so is the third-party code the site does load — Vercel Web Analytics and Google AdSense. Those requests carry ordinary browsing information. What they never carry is your file: it is read into the page's memory, worked on there, and handed back to you as a download.
